Successful playthrough and tips and tricks

Just finished a quick play through of my game.  It's reasonably easy if you can survive till experience level 3 and clear every floor.  There is a experience bonus for fully exploring a floor, which increases with depth.  Also, monsters do tend to run dry as you near completing a floor.  This should encourage you to move down soon to the next floor, which is always full of more things to fight.

Here's how I won.  First, I cleared the first floor, earning enough gold for the chain armor a few heal potions.  I used a map to show the floor layout, then I took a screen shot.  Next, I descended to the second floor, searching for the Dwarf.  Finding the Dwarf adds a short sword attack to every round of combat.  This increases the likelihood that a monster will die in one combat round, and really makes clearing the second floor easy.  Buy the Short sword when you can afford to, and rescue the Dwarf once you're done with the second floor.  You can take him downstairs, but rescuing him unlocks a higher buyback rate in the blacksmith shop.  This makes buying better armor or a weapon easier.  I always carry 5 to 10 heal potions once I can afford to.  Maps are useful while exploring to find where you need to go to clear the floor, then for screenshotting the finished floor.  The return scroll will cause you to leave your dwarf friend behind.  They will stay put while you do business in the castle courtyard.  Just talk to him to get him to rejoin your party once you return to the dungeon.

Once equipped and the Dwarf has been rescued, I cleared out the third floor and descended to the Fourth, triggering the Demo end of game screen.  Huzzah!  A successful playthrough.

I plan on adding more past the third floor soon, and will unlock the new content to my donators as soon as I figure out how.
